Sunday School Classes for All Ages
Classes are available for children three years of age through Adult Forum. Classes meet at 9:00am each Sunday from September through May.

Vacation Bible School
Held five evenings during one of the summer months for children age 3 through Grade 6.

First Communion Class
Instruction is offered to families who have expressed an interest for their children to receive this sacrament. Parents and their children attend the class.

Confirmation Class
Classes are held for youth in grades 7 and 8 during the Sunday School hour. The youth learn more deeply how to live their life of faith as they study the scriptures and Martin Luther's Small Catechism.

New Member Class
These classes are intended for those interested in learning more about Zion Church, or have expressed an interest in membership. These classes are offered three times each year.

Bible Studies
Held as scheduled.

Intergenerational Events
Throughout the year, intergenerational events are held Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour. During these opportunities children and adults of all ages engage in Christian learning and fellowship.

Baptismal Preparation
Meetings with pastor and families as Baptisms are scheduled.

Marriage Preparation
When wedding are scheduled, the couple meets with the pastor for four sessions to plan the wedding and to discuss the couple's married life together.

Junior Youth Group
Children in kindergarten through Grade 5 meet once a month, engaging in fellowship, fun and service.

Middle and High School Youth
Youth in grades 6-12 meet often to emphasize the faith-based life, group-building, and a spirit of community service. Activities include social opportunities, retreats, mission trips, summer trips, All Lutheran Youth Gathering, Pet Blessings, clothing drives and service at Community Meals.

Worship Participation
Throughout the year, children and youth regularly participate as worship leaders as acolytes, choir members, lectors, cantors and other areas of worship participation.

Adult Forum
Adult Forum normally follows the same schedule as Sunday School.
